I begin with the Name of Allaah, the most Merciful, the One Who bestows Mercy
All praises and thanks are due to Allaah, and may Allaah mention His Messenger and grant him peace. To proceed:
Beware! The Evil Eye!
What follows are some brief points regarding the evil eye…
1. The evil eye is real.
2. The evil eye may come from people who (a) merely like something or (b) become jealous by it or (c) become envious against it.
3. Everyone who gives the evil eye is jealous, but not everyone who is jealous gives the evil eye.
