I begin with the Name of Allaah, the most Merciful, the One Who bestows Mercy
Manhaj of the Salaf
Shaikh Muhammed Saalih al-Munajjid
All praises and thanks are due to Allaah, and may Allaah mention His Messenger and grant him peace. As for what follows, this is a transcript of a video message presented by Shaikh Muhammed Saalih al-Munajjid at the Lewisham Islamic Centre Conference, March 2011.
The message of the Shaikh is something of great importance for it defines the methodology a Muslim must adhere to and apply with regards to every step of their life. It concerns the attitude of the believers towards the righteous people who preceded them, and in one segment in particular and perhaps the most important, the attitude of the believers towards the one who was the torchbearer of the Guidance, sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
The best possible care has been taken to preserve all of the translated words in writing, although due to poor quality of recording a small portion of the message is missing (labeled where applicable); this does not however hinder the core message nor its elegance. Any mistakes therein is solely of the transcriber and the Shaikh is free from those mistakes.
May Allaah make this of benefit to the reader, and enable us all to apply this methodology in our lives. Aameen.
